A modern tavern shaped by folklore, food, and gathering
Lunch, small plates, and drinks served with stories

Who we are - our story…

The Peryton is built on a simple idea — good food, good drink, and a place people actually want to spend time in. It comes from years in hospitality. Growing up above a pub, working through kitchens, bars, and venues, then running one for a decade — learning what works, what doesn’t, and how much the atmosphere matters.

Opening in April 2026 in Tiverton, The Peryton is a modern tavern. Relaxed, well-run, and built for people to come together — whether that’s a quick drink or a long evening that turns into something more. The name comes from an old bit of folklore — the Peryton — but the focus here is simple. Proper food, well-made drinks, and a space that feels right.

No fuss. Just somewhere you’ll want to come back to.
