Two hours, two cocktails, a little friendly competition and absolutely no need to know what you're doing.
Join us in The Peryton for your own private cocktail class, hosted by one of our bartenders. You'll be welcomed with a sparkling cocktail before getting behind the bar and learning how to make two cocktails of your own.
❋ Your Private Cocktail Class
From birthdays and hen parties to work get-togethers or simply an excuse to spend an afternoon drinking cocktails, our classes are designed to be relaxed, hands-on and good fun.
You'll have The Glasshouse privately for the full two hours, with your bartender guiding you through the drinks, techniques and ingredients along the way. No cocktail knowledge required.
❋ Start With a Drink
It would be rude to start a cocktail class empty-handed.
We'll welcome you with a sparkling cocktail – usually something based around Prosecco – or an alcohol-free sparkling alternative.
❋ Get Behind the Bar
Next, it's your turn.
Your bartender will guide you through making two different cocktails, showing you the techniques, ingredients and little tricks that go into making a properly good drink.
Don't worry, there isn't a written exam at the end.
❋ Battle of the Bartenders
Once you've learnt the basics, we'll split you into two teams and let you loose.
You'll work together to come up with your own cocktail creation before your bartender decides which team has earned bragging rights.
The winners get a round of shots on us. Glory lasts considerably longer.

Cocktail Class FAQs-
Classes run Wednesday to Sunday from 3pm until 5pm. The experience lasts the full two hours and classes aren't available at alternative times.

The standard cocktail class is £35 per person.
The alcohol-free cocktail class is £20 per person.
You can mix alcoholic and alcohol-free guests within the same booking.

You'll get a welcome sparkling cocktail, make two cocktails with your bartender and finish with our team cocktail competition.
The winning team also gets a round of shots on us.
Alcohol-free guests receive non-alcoholic alternatives throughout.

Yes. Your group gets private use of The Peryton for the duration of your cocktail class.

Absolutely not. Your bartender will guide you through everything, from what you're making to how to shake, stir, pour and serve it.

Your bartender will guide the choice of cocktails for your class, taking the group into account and making sure you've got a good mix of drinks and techniques.

Yes. You don't need to book separate classes. Alcohol-free guests can take part alongside everyone else, including the final competition.

Yes. Cocktail classes are 18+ only, including the alcohol-free option.

Cocktail classes need to be booked at least seven days in advance.

No. We take card details to secure your booking, but you won't be charged for the class until the day.

Cancel more than seven days before your class and there's no cancellation charge.
Cancellations within seven days are charged at £5 per person.

Definitely. Your class finishes at 5pm, so you can book a table and carry straight on into dinner.
Food isn't included in the cocktail class price and you'll need to make a separate table reservation.

Yes. They're particularly good for hen parties, birthdays, celebrations, team socials and corporate events – or simply getting a group together for something a bit different.
